Eric Burdon, "voix" inoubliable et incontournable de la "British Invasion", loin du star system des Beatles et des ego-trips stoniens, préférant sans doute explorer, infatigable, les voix du blues.
Eric Burdon, lead singer for The Animals, is a true, and recognized for this, bluesman. In a time when blues is, once again, quite forgottent except for a happy few, I feel important to enlight some facts and main characters of what was called British Blues Boom in the early 60’s. Many (especially in these days ( 2016) when another blues fan group (not to mention the Rolling Stones, who seemed to suffer blues amnesia fore a mere 45 years from 1971), issue a true blues album.
Well, Eric Burdon never stopped, never forgot about blues. I read somewhere not so long ago that the story behind the mega milestone ‘House of the rising sun’ is that the guys wanted to give something ever so different from the Great Chuck Berry one day, one night, in a show they were to produce themself in the first part of Mr Berry show was it in Newcasttle?
